UN SDG Action Award 2024, Rome, Italy

It is my honor and privilege to inform you that I was awarded the United Nations SDG Action Award as a Changemaker on October 29, 2024, in Rome, Italy. This prestigious global recognition was awarded to only three finalists from over 5,500 applicants across 190 countries, highlighting our collective work in furthering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As the first divyang woman to receive this award, I am proud to represent our nation’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and empowerment of persons with disabilities on the international stage.
